The Story of the Inter-City Dart League
The Inter-City Dart League is the oldest continuous running league in North America. It was established in 1946 by a WW2 veteran, Richard Walker, upon returning to Toronto Ontario Canada. We have a proud history and tradition. As you can see we are fast approaching our 60th season. The League offers competition for the novice player to the more advanced and skilled players. We are a non profit organization. Games are played 0n Thurday nights throughout the winter months commencing in the mid September. We encourage friendly competition respecting the rules of the League and showing at all times the best of sportsmanship. We play three games of doubles 601 sido, followed by three games of cricket, finishing the night with six singles matches of 501 sido.
We also have an annual members only singles doubles shoot, an all-star shoot and a ladies only singles doubles shoot.
The main trophy we play for is the WALKER CUP, much cherished by the winners.
